After what seems like ages of writing abstinence, I thought it would be time for a blogging comeback. Of course, all this time my blog love has never stopped. During the past two and a half years I have been reading my favourite blogs on a daily basis, enjoying the endless potentials that such exposure to global fashion can create. I have spent hours and hours on the computer sucking information, adoring pictures, researching, observing, contemplating.
But at this time of my life, I am coming face to face with some sort of rotation to my fashion philosophy (or should for the sake of this blog call it "fashionosophy")! After years and years of having a greedy relationship with clothes, of buying, wearing items once or twice or maybe never, and then throwing them away, several events (or maybe just growing up :p) made me realise that it was time for some fundamental changes. Keeping this blog and documenting these efforts is going to be a way for me to be more motivated and more energized into actually implementing the fashion projects running through my mind but not through my hands, as well as a return to my beloved writing.
Have no worries though, as this will not be a plain old boring blog, but it will rather try to explore the more playful and fun side of fashion. The one that enables you to be more creative, to play with materials and what you already have, to buy more thoughtfully, and the one that allows you at the same time to live a more quality life and have true respect and appreciation for fashion.
